These pistols were known as Pistola Sistema Colt Modelo. In 1943, the Argentine Military Small Arms Factory (FMAP - Fabrica Militar de Armas Portatiles) began to prepare for the manufacture of Model 1927 pistols under the 1927 licensing agreement.

The one below is 99%+ and as far as I can tell was never issued i.e., as new. Frames is marked Goverment Model ofer the serial numbers. 22LR ACE training pistol and the last is seen below.

It isn't known if the additional serial numbers were part of a refurbishment program or not. In the late 1940's or early 1950's, some of the pistols still in service - both 19 models - had two additional serial numbers stamped on them on the slide and frame on the right side.

The serial number on top of the slide is prefixed with "No." The markings and serial numbers as described by the OP are correct and in the proper places.

Argentine inspectors at the Hartford factory inspected and stamped "R" or "RA" - both in an oval - on each. Gherovici states that all 10,000 of the Colt manufactured 1927 pistols were delivered between 19. Further information may have been discovered since, of course. Can anyone help me with a value or any comps for comparison? Are they valued lower or higher than the Sistemas? I've searched Gunbroker and some other sites and have read the sticky on the 1911 Forum. I have several Sistemas and am able to find values for those but cannot locate any of the Hartford's to get comparable values. Appears to have been re-parked a long time ago and has light rust and some pitting over the finish. Looking at one of these (below) exactly as described.
